Rain halts play

DURBAN March 3. Rain halted play with South Africa, chasing a target of 269, was 229 for six after 45 overs against Sri Lanka, at the Kingsmead, here on Monday. Mark Boucher (45) and Lance Klusener (1) were at the crease. The batsmen dismissed were Graeme Smith (35), Herschelle Gibbs (73), Gary Kirsten (8), Jacques Kallis (16), Boeta Dippenaar (8) and Shaun Pollock (25).
