Chemplast to acquire Kothari's caustic soda unit

CHENNAI APRIL 17. Chemplast Sanmar will be holding a board meeting on April 21 to consider a proposal for acquiring the caustic soda business of Kothari Petrochemicals, according to a notification from the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The directors will also decide on the issue of convening a general meeting of the shareholders for seeking their approval to make intercorporate investments in this regard, according to the notification.
