BHEL thermal sets achieve record PLF

NEW DELHI: BHEL-built thermal sets registered a record plant load factor of 74 per cent, higher than the national average, during the last fiscal. Consistently registering a high PLF and operation availability (OA), these sets generated a record 309.5 billion units during the year, constituting 79 per cent of the country's total thermal power generation and contributed substantially to narrow the gap between demand and supply.
