IT official surrenders

NEW DELHI MAY 10. The Additional Income Tax Commissioner, S. Ramu, against whom the CBI had registered a disproportionate assets case and who had been on the run since March 20, surrendered before a court in Hyderabad, a CBI spokesman said here today. On CBI's request, the court remanded him to the agency's custody till May 14.
