Nine killed in blast

LUDHIANA MAY 10. Nine persons, including a woman, were killed and 91 injured when an LPG cylinder exploded and set off a huge fire at around 1.45 p.m. in a hosiery factory in a thickly populated residential area here. The fire spread to four buildings adjoining the factory when people at the spot mistakenly poured an inflammable liquid to extinguish it, thinking it was water.
