Troops for Iraq

Sir, — This is with reference to "Should India send troops to Iraq" (May 29). The writer has given a graphic detail about the pros and cons of that matter. But I think India should send troops to Iraq to help the suppressed, poor and the needy, who have suffered for so many years under the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein.

It's time for India to help them and maintain law and order there till a civil government is established.
