Two Himachal women with forged visas held

HYDERABAD June 8. Two women from Himachal Pradesh, Chinley Bolma (29) and Namgle Docoi (19), were apprehended by immigration authorities at Rajiv Gandhi international airport for possessing visas with forged ECNR stamps. The two women had come to the city to fly to Paris via Dubai.

In another case, the immigration officials caught a native of Goa, Nazir Khan Abdul Rehman (34), who tried to board a Dubai-bound plane, with a fake passport. The accused person confessed to the authorities that he had procured the passport from a resident of Visakhapatnam, Rajesh.

All three were handed over to Begumpet police for further action.

Killed in road mishaps

Three persons were killed in road accidents in different parts of the city on Saturday.

A construction worker, Krishna (38), was knocked down by a motorbike while he was walking on the road at Vanasthalipuram. The victim was a resident of Hasthinapuram. He was declared brought dead to Osmania General Hospital.

A 21-year-old youth, Shafi, died on the spot when the scooter he was driving hit a road divider at Chandravihar complex near Care hospital last night. The Begumbazar police said the victim was a resident of Noorkhanbazar.

In another incident, a rickshaw puller, Lakma (32) of RTC colony in Champapet, was killed when he was hit from behind by a lorry at Bharat Gardens.
