Letters to the Editor
Sir, In your Editorial "Fostering bilateral trade" ( July 11 ) it is rightly inferred that an improvement in bilateral relations at the political level does lead to greater trade and that the reverse is also true. It is encouraging that India-Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry is focussing on infrastructural constraints in trade. The recent resumption of the Delhi-Lahore bus service indicates a thaw in relations between the two neighbours. The past must be forgotten and both countries must come together for talks.
