Gujarat gesture

GANDHINAGAR Aug. 26. The Gujarat Government has announced a special assistance of Rs 50,000 each to the next of kin of the eight people from Surendranagar district in the State killed in Monday's serial bomb blast in Mumbai.

An official spokesman said the amount would be in addition to the assistance the family of the deceased would be entitled to from the Maharashtra Government.
