Child worker rescued

KURNOOL OCT. 11. Officials of the National Child Labour Project rescued an 11-year-old boy who was allegedly handcuffed by the employer at Adoni on Saturday.

According to reports, the boy, Noorbasha, who was working with a welding workshop, misplaced the keys of the shop inviting the wrath of the employer, Imtiaz. The employer reportedly handcuffed the boy. The NCLP officials, led by the Project Director, Isaaq, took the boy and the employer to the police station and the boy's handcuffs were removed after a case was registered against the employer.
