'India evaluating Pak. response'

NEW DELHI OCT. 29. India said today that it was evaluating Pakistan's response to its 12 confidence building measures to repair bilateral ties.

According to an official of the External Affairs Ministry, New Delhi's response is likely to be known tomorrow. Of special interest to India would be Pakistan's proposal of providing treatment to the "disabled and victimised Kashmiris" and scholarships to youth from the State. Pakistan has also sought to relate more transport links to a composite dialogue.
