Protest by Theekathir employees

CHENNAI NOV. 11. Journalists and employees of Theekathir participated in a day-long fast inside their office premises here on Monday to protest against the Assembly order to arrest the Editor and four others of The Hindu and the Editor of Murasoli.

Leaders and journalists, who spoke, said the Press would not be cowed down by such ``intimidatory tactics.''

They pledged to continue to discharge their duties without fear or favour.
