By Our Staff Reporter

Cuddapah Nov. 30. The Superintendent of Police, V.C. Sajjanar, paid a surprise visit to the Rayachoti and Tsundupalle Police Stations and advised the police to be vigilant to the movements of the banned People's War naxalites.

Mr. Sajjanar inspected the records in Tsundupalle, Rayachoti urban and rural police stations, which fell in the naxalite-affected areas and enquired about the manner in which the police personnel were keeping track of the naxal movements and the precautionary measures being taken by them.

He asked the Tsundupalle sub-inspector, S.M. Shareef, the Rayachoti Urban CI, Naganna and the Rural CI, Rafiq, to take adequate precautionary measures and gave them tips in this regard.

The SP questioned the reasons behind the rise in thefts in Rayachoti town and urged the policemen to initiate stern action against the anti-social elements and divisive forces.

He cautioned that he would not tolerate complacency.
