Attempt on Musharraf's life condemned

NEW DELHI DEC. 25. India has condemned the "heinous terrorist attack" against the Pakistan President, Pervez Musharraf, in Rawalpindi this afternoon in which many innocent lives were lost and a large number of civilians injured.

In a statement this evening, the External Affairs Ministry spokesman said "We express our heartfelt condolences to the families.'' New Delhi had condemned the December 14 attempt on the life of Gen. Musharraf, which also took place in Rawalpindi.
