Back Water level declines in Kerala Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Water level at the three major reservoirs in the State - Idukki, Kallada and Idamalayar - declined marginally when compared with levels recorded during the last week. According to figures released by the Central Water Commission, during the week ending December 29, the level had receded by 1.75 ft to touch 2342.ft at Idukki, by 1.18 ft to touch 491.93 ft at Idamalayar and by 1.64 ft to 365.72 ft at Kallada. However, when compared with the last year, the levels at Kallada had registered an increase of 0.60 ft, Idukki, 4.74 ft, and Idamalayar, 1.94 ft.
