PW kills four in Bihar

PATNA, JAN. 14. The People's War killed four persons and injured two others at Mirjapur village in Jehanabad district last night.The victims, said to be supporters of the Ranvir Sena, were offering prayers in a temple.

The People's War militants attacked the temple that falls under the Sakurabad police station, fired at the devotees before abducting six of them.

While three bodies were recovered last night, another one was recovered this morning. The extremists let off two persons.

It was stated that the militants raised slogans saying that the attack was a revenge for the killing of five of its supporters, all Dalits, in Pariyari village early this month.
