Satyanarayana Shastry dead

BANGALORE, JAN. 17. A. Satyanarayana Shastry, an expert in Indian philosophy and Chief Adviser, Vivekananda Yoga Mahavidyapeetham, died here on Friday. He was 80, and is survived by wife and seven children.

Prof. Shastry, who had made a deep study of the Upanishads, was active at Prashanti Kuteera of Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana also. The cremation took place today.
