All for power

Sir, — `National pride' was why Sharad Pawar with P.A. Sangma and V.C. Shukla, quit the Congress, a few years ago, on the issue of Ms. Gandhi's foreign origin.

Now, Mr. Pawar has swallowed that pride and decided to tie up with the Congress "in the larger interest of the nation" and in the hope of grabbing power.
