Letters to the Editor
Sir, With the Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani, and an All Parties Hurriyat Conference team agreeing to find an "honourable and durable solution" to the Kashmir problem by adopting a "step-by-step approach, the ongoing peace process is gaining momentum. The yearning for peace has apparently led the APHC leader, Abdul Ghani Bhat, to brave the menacing threats from the hardliners among the separatist groups and proclaim that the "sound of guns will be replaced with the sound of politics."
Nalini Vijayaraghavan,
* * * Sir, Any agreement with the APHC should include bringing back the Kashmiri Pandits now languishing outside their home State. The Centre should help bring about lasting peace in the State.
K.G.P. Pillai,
* * * Sir, An early solution must be found so that Kashmir, one of the world's most beautiful regions, is restored to its glory.
M.R. Prasad,
