HYDERABAD, FEB. 3. The Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, is leaving for New Delhi on a day-long official visit on Wednesday. Mr. Naidu has lined up a string of meetings with Central leaders but the main purpose of his visit is to present to the Prime Minister, A. B. Vajpayee, the report of the National Task Force on Micro-Irrigation of which he is the Chairman. The Chief Minister is also scheduled to meet the Deputy Prime Minister, L. K. Advani, to seek additional para-military forces for elections in the State, the Finance Minister, Jaswanth Singh, for more Central assistance for combating drought, the Union Minister for Water Resources, Suresh Prabhu, to discuss the proposed inter-linking of rivers and also the Defence Minister, George Fernandes. In spite of his hectic schedule, he is slated to return here the same evening.
