Back Workshop on safe food in Kochi

KOCHI: The CII-Kerala is organising Safe Food - A quality management workshop for food processing sector here on Friday. The workshop is planned as a continuum to the CII study on enhancing competitiveness of processed food sector in the State.

Mr P.H. Kurian, Managing Director, KSIDC, will inaugurate the workshop. Mr A.J. Tharakan, CMD, Amalgam Foods Ltd and President, All-India Seafood Exporters Association, will deliver the keynote address. Ms S.Valasala Kumari, Deputy Director, PFA, Dept of Health Services, will make a special address.

The workshop will be attended by CEOs and quality managers from industry, representatives from certifying agencies, and senior government officials from the Health Department etc.
