He wants people's crown

HAVERI, FEB. 21. The Chief Minister, S.M. Krishna, has expressed the desire to wear the crown that the people would present him soon. The Chief Minister was apparently referring to the impending elections to the Legislative Assembly and the Lok Sabha.

"That would be the real crown I would like to wear,'' Mr. Krishna said on being presented with a silver crown and a silver mace at a public function held to mark the launching of new schemes and inauguration of those that had been completed, here today.
