Back Cairn strikes more oil in Rajasthan

BRITISH oil major Cairn Energy Plc has struck oil for a second time in its Rajasthan exploration block.

Announcing the discovery today, Cairn said that the recoverable resource was of the order of 20-80 million barrels and `in-place' reserves of 130-470 million barrels. The discovery should yield around 0.5 million tonnes per annum of crude oil.
