Back Technoquiz for engg students

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Technopark-based IBS Software Services hosted a quiz programme for engineering students from South India as part of the technical festival, Bhavna-2004, of the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram.

Earlier, the Minister for Cultural Affairs, Mr G. Karthikeyan, inaugurated the festival at the University Senate Hall here.

The quiz programme, Data Mining, saw 40 teams participating in the initial round, out of which five - four from the College of Engineering and one form the Marian Engineering College - made it to the finals. The Thiruvananthapuram team won the first position. Mr Jay Krishnan R, Senior Software Engineer, IBS, was the quizmaster. IBS sponsored the prizes and certificates.
