Back Kyocera sets up testing lab

BANGALORE: Kyocera Wireless Corp (KWC), a CDMA wireless handset manufacturer, has set up a product testing laboratory at its Bangalore centre, the first such facility to be set up by the company outside its US headquarters in San Diego.

Kyocera Wireless India will work in consonance with KWC to conduct software and system tests for its CDMA wireless phones. The facility will help to speed up product release cycles of Kyocera phones, a company release said.

The multi-million dollar product test lab would be initially manned by a 55-member team. Mr Takeru Ohira,Vice President of Products at KWC, visited the new facility recently to launch the operations.
