Back Kedia, Kamineni sign MoU for telemedicine

KEDIA Infotech Ltd (KIL) has tied up with Kamineni Hospitals to provide medical services to card-holders as value-added services.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by the CEO of KIL, Mr Ashok Kumar Kedia, and Dr K. Shashidhar, Managing Director of Kamineni Hospitals.

The pilot with Kamineni is a new approach to health marketing and would mean better service to the consumer at lower costs, especially in the emerging and rapidly changing trends of healthcare sector in the country, according to Mr Kedia.

KIL plans to initiate telemedicine and online medical advice services in all the 18 enterprise development centres (EDCs) after the completion of the pilot in the North-East, he added.

The EDCs are already equipped with the necessary infrastructure to provide online medical services to the card-holders.
