HYDERABAD, MARCH 15. Farmers' leaders from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, officials of the Commodity Exchange Board, agricultural scientists, economists and other industry leaders will participate in a national seminar on `Developing Indian farmers' competitiveness to face global challenges -- building consensus on policies and strategies' being organised here on March 16 and 17. The venue will be the National Institute of Agricultural Extension and Management (MANAGE), Rajendranagar. According to the coordinator of the seminar, A. Bhavani Prasad, vice-president, Federation of Farmers' Association of AP, a charter of issues would be finalised for consideration of various political parties as well as the Government.
