APSRTC cooperative body meeting held

HYDERABAD, MARCH 15. The meeting of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation Employees Thrift and Cooperative Society Limited was held on Monday at the APSRTC Kala Bhavan, Baghlingampally.

About 500 delegates representing nearly 1.25 lakh employees of APSRTC attended the meeting, which was presided over by D. Padmanabham, society's vice-chairman and Executive Director (Medical).

In his message, A. Siva Sankar, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of APSRTC and chairman of the society, extolled the efforts of the society in achieving constant progress and services rendered to APSRTC employees. He advised them to make the details of the expenditure on welfare schemes known to all members. Various amendments to byelaws were adopted unanimously, which included enhancement of short-term loans.
