Vachana Sangeetotsava on March 25, 26

BIDAR, MARCH 21. Music lovers of Bidar district will have a feast of songs and dance dramas based on Vachanas as part of the "Vachana Sangeetotsava" to be held at Basavakalyan on March 25 and 26.

Well-known singers such as Rajkumar Madakatti, H.Suguresh Askihal, Sheshappa Gabbur, Siddaramaiah Swamy, Eshwarappa Panchal, Jagannath Maharaj, and Basavraj Katti will perform at the Basaveshwara Temple.

Rangabharati and Sai International groups will present ballets based on vachanas on both the days.

Folk artistes such as Sriram Talabhog, Manikappa Ladha, Ramareddy Barur, Shankar Chondi, Monappa Sutar, Ramanna Hosahalli, and Gadyappa Bhajantri will perform with their teams. A team of Doddata artistes from Mashal in Gulbarga will participate.
