Poll rally: TDP activist dies in accident

ELURU, APRIL 3. An election rally held on Saturday in connection with the filing of nomination by the TDP candidate, Y.T. Raja, in Tanuku Assembly segment was marred by an accident in which a party activist was killed and four others injured.

According to information, B. Venkateswara Rao (40) of Velivennu in Undrajavaram mandal had a fatal fall from a tractor carrying people for the rally near Tanuku. The injured party workers were admitted to SMVM Hospital in Tanuku.

Mr Raja went in procession and filed his nomination in Tanuku.
