Back Intas launches intravenous cancer drug

THE Ahmedabad-based Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd has launched an intravenous chemotherapy product - Itaspor I.V., a supportive therapy for cancer patients whose immunity is compromised.

Itaspor I.V. or itraconazole is touted to be more potent, with lesser toxicity, than products in the same category.

This helps the medical fraternity with a supportive therapy, for better disease management, a company communiqué said here today.

The Itaspor I.V. (Itraconazole) injection is indicated for therapy in patients whose immunity is low and suffering from fungal infections.
