Back Training for farmers in Kollam dist.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Union Government's Department of Food and Public Distribution, under the aegis of the `save grain campaign', will provide 10 days of stipendiary training to 50 farmers of Chavara in Kollam district, according to an official press release.

The training programme would be from April 20 to April 29 and would include both theoretical and practical components.

Those who successfully complete the training programme would receive certificates and a grain container with a capacity of 110 kg, the release said.
