Not around to savour success

RAJAHMUNDRY, MAY 1. The news of their wards passing the SSC examination in first class did not bring their parents any ecstasy but left them in agony. For parents of the two boys -- Naresh and Madhava Rao -- the results were a very poignant reminder of their beloved ones and resulted in tears rolling down the eyes of all their family members.

Gudala Naresh and Bondala Madhava Rao, both belonging to Kadiam village, were not there to enjoy the success as both were killed in two separate accidents. Their parents were poor but had sent their sons to private schools with a view to providing them better standard of education.
