Drain being desilted

BANGALORE, MAY 7. The Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP) has started desilting the stretch of the Koramangala valley that runs along the National Games Village.

This follows overflowing of the drain during the recent rains in the city.

The BMP is using machines to clear the part of the drain that is open.

The portion that has been covered will be cleaned manually, the BMP engineers supervising the work said.
