Back Coca-Cola, CII in tie-up Our Bureau
HYDERABAD: Coca-Cola Company, in association with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Andhra Pradesh Technology Development and Promotion Centre (APTDC), has launched an initiative for collection of used PET bottles for recycling. The initiative, aimed at protecting the environment, includes organising awareness programmes in schools, placing advertisements in newspapers and cinema theatres, painting truck backs and providing painted bins for collection of used PET bottles, according to a Coca-Cola press release. CII and APTDC have assisted Jayanarayan & Sons Engineers (P) Ltd to set up a PET bottles recycling project in the city. Coca-Cola and CII will work as catalysts to better the collection of used PET bottles by the recycling company.
