Back IHT: Govt files caveat in anticipation of stay

THE Government has filed a caveat at a civil court in Hyderabad in anticipation of a stay petition filed by Midram Publication Private Ltd, which publishes International Herald Tribune (IHT).

Sources in the Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry said that the major concern has been to ensure the enforcement of the guidelines.

The Government is looking at the existing legislations and could consider some changes if required.
