Saina, Kashyap for junior ABC event

HYDERABAD, JUNE 11. Two Hyderabad players — Saina Nehwal and P. Kashyap — will represent India in the junior Asian badminton championship to be held in South Korea from July 13 to 18, according to a press release here on Friday.

Fourteen-year-old Saina, who won almost everything at stake in the sub-juniors and juniors categories in recent months, and 17-year-old Kashyap, who won the doubles title in the all-India junior championship in Khammam and finished runner-up in the singles, will be playing in the ABC for the first time.

The two, first spotted by `Dronacharya' S.M. Arif and now coached by SAAP's Goverdhan Reddy, are confident of putting up a better show. "There is no pressure at all us. We will try to put up a decent performance," they said in an informal chat with newsmen.
