Bharti Broadband targets PSU banks

NEW DELHI: The Sunil Mittal-owned Bharti group's end-to-end enterprise solutions arm, Bharti Broadband and Data Group, aims to capture 35 per cent of the market share in the rapidly expanding banking segment. And for this, the company is mainly focusing at public sector and cooperative banks. The Broadband has already formed a new "PSU banking vertical team" to aggressively pursue the emerging demand for bank connectivity solutions. Interestingly, it has emerged as the preferred connectivity provider for most major private and multinational banks. According to Rajiv Sharma, CEO, Bharti Broadband & Data Group, "We want to bring in our expertise and technology capabilities to put public sector banks on a par with the best banks in the world.
