Cauvery water

Sir, — Cauvery water has at last reached the Mettur Dam from the overflowing reservoirs of Karnataka. But what we see now is sharing of abundance. This will not solve the problem faced during water shortage. It is time all the parties to the issue arrive at a distress sharing formula rather than make politics out of the situation that arises during monsoon failure.
