Vehicles recovered

The Sultan Bazar police on Wednesday arrested three persons and recovered five stolen two-wheelers and ten bicycles, all worth Rs. 2 lakhs, from their possession. The trio -- Krishna Murthy, Santosh and Shankar -- confessed to having lifted the vehicles from different parts of the city.

Impostors held

The Jubilee Hills police arrested two persons -- Mohd. Azeem and Mohd. Faizuddin -- on charges of duping people posing as officials of Reliance Company and collecting Reliance mobile handsets with forged `service termination papers and handset return forms'. Thirty mobile phones and a computer, worth Rs. 3.15 lakhs, were recovered from them.

Girl ends life

A 13-year-old maid, Jami Begum, committed suicide by setting herself ablaze on Tuesday at her house in Arora Colony of Banjara Hills. She reportedly was suffering from stomach pain, the Panjagutta police said.
