NEW DELHI, JULY 1. The recently launched Tehelka newspaper has exposed an alleged racket in the issuance of fake certificates by a senior psychiatrist at the Agra Mental Hospital to help people get rid of their wives by proving in court that they were mentally unsound. The weekly newspaper traced three women who were thus victimised. It now plans to move the Supreme Court to demand a thorough probe into the case and an exemplary compensation of Rs. 1 crore for each victim.
