Special train to Coimbatore

CHENNAI, JULY 9. To clear the extra rush, a special train will be operated between Chennai Central and Coimbatore. Train 615 will leave here at 11.20 p.m. on July 11 and reach Coimbatore at 7.35 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, it (624) will leave at 11.45 p.m. on July 18 and arrive here at 8.15 a.m. the next day. Reservation is available.

Aadipooram special

In connection with Aadipooram, special trains will be run between Coimbatore and Melmaruvathur via Erode and Tiruchi. It will leave Coimbatore at 3.30 p.m. on July 18 and arrive at Melmaruvathur at 3 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, it will leave at 9.15 p.m. on July 22 and reach Coimbatore at 8 a.m. the next day, says an official release.

Summer schedule

The Bangalore-Nagercoil-Bangalore summer special trains will continue to run as per the following schedule: Bangalore-Nagercoil weekly will leave Bangalore at 5.45 p.m. on July 17, 24 and 31 and August 7, 14, 21 and 28. The train will arrive at Madurai at 4.45 a.m. the next day and reach Nagercoil at 10.30 a.m. In the return direction, the Nagercoil-Bangalore weekly will leave Nagercoil at 3.30 p.m. on July 18 and 25 and August 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.

The train will arrive Madurai at 8.35 p.m. and reach Bangalore at 9 a.m. next day.

The above trains will stop at Bangalore Cantonment, Hosur, Dharmapuri, Salem, Erode, Karur, Dindigul, Kodaikanal Road, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Vanchi Maniyachi and Tirunelveli.
