COIMBATORE: The Auditors' Association of Southern India is all set to introduce a vocational career-oriented Certificate Course in Commerce (C.Comm), a placement cell to facilitate accountants identify suitable positions and launch a portal for showcasing its services. According to the association's Secretary, Mr M. Ramji, the C.Comm programme, proposed to commence in mid-August, would be conducted in three levels - for those who have completed schooling, for graduates and an executive programme for the employed. The course content would include various tax laws, computerised accounting apart from soft skills and written communication. Regarding the portal, Mr Ramji said it would be an interactive Web site for updating members on legal and commercial matters and about the services offered by the association in general.
