Chennai , July 19 LAKSHMI Machine Works Ltd (LMW) has increased its revenue by 20 per cent following the implementation of Oracle's enterprise resource planning product, the E-Business Suite. Mr Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu, whole-time Director of LMW, said the company has seen positive results since the implementation, which was phased over three to four years at the cost of about Rs 6.5 crore, including manpower, time and hardware, he said. Along with the integration of its business processes, there has also been a surge in orders, both from the domestic and international market. Mr K. Soundhar Rajhan, Senior General Manager (Supply Chain Management), the LMW Group, said the company went live during the first phase in 2003, just 10 months after the implementation began. Twenty-nine modules were implemented and all other legacy systems were shut down. The company has used Oracle to automate its complete production, sales and product development cycles, said Mr Shekhar Dasgupta, Managing Director, Oracle India Pvt Ltd.
