THE reverse building offer for delisting the shares of AstraZeneca Pharma India opened today.

On the first day, the response from the shareholders was not very good with just 300 shares being tendered on the NSE.

Astra Pharmaceuticals AB Sweden has announced an offer to acquire the public shareholding of 8.4 per cent. With this offer, the Swedish multinational plans to delist its shares from the stock exchanges.

The floor price for the reverse book building process is Rs 825.

Astra Pharmaceuticals AB Sweden offer is in continuation of the previous two offers made by it, whereby the company had acquired 35.1 per cent holding in 2002.

In today's trading, the stock price of the company closed at Rs 902.80, up 1.31 per cent with volumes of 1,326 shares on the NSE.
