Association launches vocational course

COIMBATORE: The Auditors' Association of Southern India (Coimbatore chapter) launched a vocational course called Certificate in Commerce here on Monday. The four-month course will be held in batches at three levels: for those who have completed plus two (level 1), for those who have completed graduation (level 2) and for those who are either working or have worked as company executives (level 3). The subjects that will be covered in the course are commercial and business laws, labour laws, income tax and sales tax practice and accounts with computerised accounting.

A placement cell was also inaugurated here today to provide help in placing accountants and professionals. An interactive website was also launched, a release from the association said. For details contact: Telephone number: 5366934.
