Syndicate Bank net profit up

CHENNAI: Syndicate Bank has reported a net profit of Rs. 125.24 crores for the quarter ended June 30, 2004 against Rs. 101.85 crores in the same period in the previous year. Total income has increased to Rs. 1,075.57 crores from Rs. 877.93 crores. The bank is planning to raise Rs. 200 crores for its tier II capital requirements.
