Back Acer handhelds for Dr Reddy's

BANGALORE: Acer India said on Tuesday that it has provided over 500 Acer handhelds to Dr Reddy's Laboratories as part of a larger project to promote front-end sales force automation among their marketing representatives (MRs).

The handhelds, loaded with sales force automation software from the Solutions Group of TVS Electronics Ltd, will enable marketing representatives to access topical and relevant information on new formulations from headquarters, check stock availability, submit daily reports from the field and provide market and competitor intelligence anytime, anyplace.

The first phase of the project was being implemented in Andhra Pradesh, said an Acer press release.

The Solutions Group of TVS Electronics conducted training and counselling sessions for MRs on the handheld and application functionality.
