Back Invensys centre in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Invensys, a global automation, controls and process solutions group, has announced the opening of its `Global Development Centre' at Vanenburg IT Park at Madhapur in Hyderabad, developed with an investment of $3 million.

The Vice-President of Invensys, Mr Chris Harding, told Business Line: "The centre will enable the company to expand its operations and handle critical product development work. So far we have invested about $8 million in the Indian operations and plan to invest about $2 million each year and grow by about 40-50 per cent every year."

According to him, the 50,690 sq. ft. development facility is among the largest outside US and will work for all the Invensys group companies worldwide, which include Foxboro, Simsci-Esscor and Wonderware, among others.
