Kochi to host junior badminton

KOCHI, JULY 20. The State junior badminton championship will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi indoor stadium here from July 29 to 31. Boys and girls in the under-19 age-group will figure in the inter-district and open events.

The masters and veterans State championships will be held along with the State junior meet.

Ayyappan Krishnan, Arjun Prasad, Sankar P. Gopan, Ram C. Vijay in the boys section and Aparna Balan, M. Sruthi, P.C. Thulasi, Suma Suresh in the girls section are some of the stars who will be seen in action in the junior championship.
